Improvement work carried out on plant, described without invented figures.

Safalta Award

Received from Electrosteel Steels Limited for a cost-saving air-oil system initiative. The work involved replacing a faulty Woerner air-oil distributor with an in-house developed distributor and modifying the associated line.

Pneumatic cylinder modification

Modified an obsolete pneumatic cylinder so that it could be used as an equipment spare.

Waterbox line improvement

Modified a waterbox line to reduce uncooled length and improve yield.

Shear number one modification

Modified the bottom arm to reduce end-cutting length and improve yield.
